The Cinematic Network Thinks the World Should Pay More Attention to Tree Care

Tree Care is a subject that The Cinematic Network (C1 Network One) has never talked about before. However, we think that the time has come for us to speak out. Click here for more info.

It has often been said that trees—especially forests of trees—are the lungs of the earth. But trees are now being cut down at an alarming rate.

Every year in the Amazon rain forest, for example, no less than 5,000 square kilometers of trees are being cut down. Since 1970 almost 770,000 square kilometers of the Amazon forest have been lost.

And that’s just the Amazon forest. That’s not to speak of all the other forests in this world.

What will happen if we keep abusing the lungs of the planet like this? How much longer can we push this?

We think that everyone in the world should become conscious of the terrible thing we are doing to our natural habitat. We can’t change anything until we become conscious of it. And that is why the Cinematic Network, even though it is involved in a business that has nothing to do with trees, has decided to raise its voice on this matter.

We must remember Joyce Kilmer’s famous poem:

I think that I shall never see

A poem lovely as a tree.

 A tree whose hungry mouth is prest

Against the sweet earth’s flowing

breast;

 A tree that looks at God all day,

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

 A tree that may in summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair;

 Upon whose bosom snow has lain;

Who intimately lives with rain.

 Poems are made by fools like me,

But only God can make a tree.

 What could be more true than that? Only God can make a tree! So why are we, the human species, the most rapacious species in the history of life on earth, cutting down all these trees.

We would ask all our readers to think about this. That’s all we ask: please think about this.
